This online synchronous course is designed for young people aged 15 and over who are interested in pursuing a career in the digital sector. The course will focus on teaching the basics of coding using Scratch, a visual programming language developed by the MIT Media Lab. Over five sessions, participants will learn how to create interactive games and animations, and develop the skills needed to become trainee coders or developers.
This course is being fully funded by the eSkills Malta Foundation.

Learning Outcomes
By the end of the course, participants will be able to:
- Understand the basics of coding
- Create interactive games and animations using Scratch
- Understand the concepts of variables, loops, and conditionals
- Debug code and solve common programming problems
- Explore the potential of coding as a career in the digital sector
